marie came by this morning and asked if i wanted to go with her to the thai place for lunch today. i was a grumpy and headachy and reluctant to go because i was actually looking forward to eating my boring rice & salsa lunch while reading my book. but, i was weak, and she offered to pay, so i went along.
\nthe point of this short yet boring story was that of the three tables with people at them when we got there, all of them were filled with co-workers. we’d all gone to lunch in separate groups, with no foreknowledge, but we all ended up at the same restaurant. obviously we’re a company which loves its thai food.
