awww pwoor hess.
i’ve had my share of long distance love…and that article does ring true..my fave part is this:
“The worst is at the start of the relationship, when you have that constant feeling of wondering what the other person is doing,” says one of my male friends. “I think this is why people get married. So you’re obliged to say what you’re doing.”
that article is crap! one would feel like eckler if one were a cruel and selfish person… ‘how dare you have fun w/o me’ and ‘how can you have fun w/o me’ are fairly vicious statements. blech.
it’s not an actual desire to deny them fun and activity because you’re not there to share with it. it’s an unsolicited reaction because you can’t be there to share with it. you acutely feel the distance when you hear about them being out and about, enjoying their lives. human nature, blah blah blah.
