I thought it was kinda long and boring…visually it was cool but this movie really really wanted to be more metaphysical than it actually was.
“Mommy I love you”
creepy
did you feel that the ending (post freeze) seemed like it was tacked on just to give a little more “hollywood closure”, or was that just me?
it felt like an epilogue written after an author’s death.
or like “h” the sequel to “wuthering heights”. *shudder* just remembering that book gives me the willies.
ya…that’s what I thought as well. It’s like they didn’t know how to end it…or perhaps ended it even more badly the first time around.
But come on…silicon aliens 2000 years later? And did they have to beat me to death with the Pinochio theme…jeez there was an original thought…wow, fake boy wants to be real…let’s tie in Pinochio and instead of Jiminy Cricket…our kid will have a walking/talking teddy bear.
I expected a more original plot than that…remember the scene where he’s at the flesh farm in the cage?
look familiar? http://www.allovio-gallery.com/disney/images/DIS_1202881.jpg
the whole flesh fair scene i found insulting. yeah, okay. i kind of figured out from the “but outside he looks so real” that they were commenting on humanity’s tendency to judge a book by its cover. you didn’t need an additional half an hour to beat it into my head again, thanks.
i didn’t mind the ring master getting pelted with bean bags, though.
and i still want a teddy. he stole the show.
