Mmm…holiday baking.
Need a sous-baker?
Sweet mother, Heather. Hook me up with some nanaimo love, would you?
Jesus wept, that sounds heavenly. Do you ship to the U.S.?? It’s a travesty we never met while I was in Vancouver.
what time is it?
it’s time for you to start your photoblog.
gimmie gimmie gimmie! i can “test” the baking to make sure it’s not poisoned.
I’d be interested in your Nanaimo recipe, if you don’t mind sharing.
The one I’ve seen as the ‘official’ (http://www.nanaimo.ca/visitors/index_inside.asp?id=189&parent=7&sub_collection=11) one could be improved, or rather, made more for adults (i.e. not as sweet, more chocolatey, richer filling, etc.).
I hope I have not insulted your Nanaimos. (Can’t believe I just typed that – it sounds like a piece of Surrealist poetry).
Oops. Let me try another way to get that link… Grrr.

I need to look into the holiday baking, myself. I did buy a new hand mixer, too, given I’d broken the last one on ginger-chocolate cookies.
Reading this entry raised my blood sugar. In half an hour I’m going to pass out from hypoglycemia. I hope you’re happy!
68? hah! Mine looks exactly the same, and I’m only 28. Damn the whole trucking industry for my premature grey hair and dismal attitude towards sharing the road with others….
