why is it that when faced with adversity women start to cry but men want to hit something?

8 Thoughts on “do-do-do-do

  1. It wouldn’t be very manly if I cried.

    while there are always exceptions,
    many women are quite passive,
    whereas men show there agressions.
it is just the way we most live.

  3. blame society… women are (well, it’s slowly changing) raised to be emotional, and men are raised to be more physical. and if we dare show our emotions, we risk seeming less “manly”. screw that!
no seriously, i’m not a “hit something” kinda guy. well, that’s not entirely true. i WANT to hit stuff. but i never do. never. can you believe that i haven’t hit someone in anger in over 20 years?
holy shit, i just made myself sound really old.
man, i hate when i digress like this.

  4. i cry and don’t hit stuff, and I’m a man…i think it depends on how you let things out…

testosterone. keeping dosing my drinking water with estrogen, i like it.

  6. Huh. I like to cry AND hit things. Does that make me intersexed??

  7. yeah, i do both. it’s kinda weird actually…whenever i get really really angry, i’m always close to crying as well.

  8. because guys are told they are weak/not a man if they show feelings like crying. it’s reinforced throughout society.
if charlie chan started crying instead of kicking ass would his movies sale?
